Sunday Soccer Betting Picks – December 6, 2020
Hey guys, Mickey here. I’m now going to give you some Sunday soccer betting picks from the following competitions – English Premier League, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, and Italian Serie A. These are my picks:
- Sheffield United vs Leicester City – Leicester to Win (-105)
- Tottenham vs Arsenal – Double Chance Tottenham/Draw (-400)
- Liverpool vs Wolves – Both Teams to Score (-125)
- Metz vs Lyon – Lyon to Win (-180)
- Schalke vs Bayer Leverkusen – Bayer Leverkusen to Win (-200)
- Sampdoria vs AC Milan – Under 2.5 Goals (+110)
If you put all of these bets into a parley (accumulator bet), you’d get total odds of about +2,000. This means that with a $10 bet, you could get a $200 profit. Of course, only if all of these individual bets win. Will they win? Keep on reading to see why I think so!
FatCatBet’s Sunday Soccer Betting Previews
Sheffield United vs Leicester City
Sheffield United is at the very bottom of the Premier League table, with only 1 point after 10 rounds. The Blades won that point some six weeks ago when they drew with Fulham, another team near the bottom of the table.
They’re taking on Leicester city this Sunday, a team that’s flying very high in the Prem. The Foxes are in the 4th position, even though their recent form hasn’t been that great. In fact, they lost their two most recent Premier League games.
They also lost to Zorya Luhansk in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. However, that defeat can be explained by assuming that Leicester City are more focused on the English league than on the international competition.
Their minds are probably set on the game with Sheffield, which is supposed to put their form back on the right track. Practically all of their key men are fit and ready for this game, so anything but a win for the Foxes would be a big surprise.
Tottenham vs Arsenal
Tottenham is at the top of the Premier League table. They want to stay there, but for that, they need to keep on playing well. Last weekend, they drew with Chelsea. This weekend, they’re playing another London derby, but this time, the opponent is not as dangerous as the Blues.
This time, Tottenham is taking on Arsenal, a team that’s in the 14th place at the moment. The Gunners are in a poor form at the moment, with their defense looking very week. This should worry their fans as one of the most lethal teams in the world is their next opponent.
Son and Kane, who are in the list of top 10 scorers in the Prem at the moment, are both fit and ready to play against Arsenal. Add Gareth Bale to the equation and you’ll see why I expect this team to win.
Sure, Arsenal has some really good players, especially in the final third (Aubameyang for one). However, Tottenham’s defense has been on fire lately. In fact, their goalkeeper Lloris is one of the most in-form players in the entire league.
But, just in case, my pick is double chance, so that even if Tottenham fails to win, your bet isn’t going to fail. I think we’ll see either a home win or a draw. Arsenal doesn’t look capable of winning.
Liverpool vs Wolves
The reigning champ is struggling with injuries, which is something that’s been annoying their manager Jurgen Klopp. He’s angry at the FA for not increasing the number of substitutes. He thinks this is the reason behind numerous injuries in his team, including those of the following players:
- Alisson
- Van Dijk
- Gomez
- Alexander-Arnold
- Alcantara
- Milner
- Oxlade-Chamberlain
- Shaqiri
- Keita
Nevertheless, despite’s Klopp’s anger, his team’s been doing very well. In fact, despite their back line being decimated and Keheller making his debut as Liverpool’s goalkeeper, the Reds managed to beat Ajax mid-week in the Champions League.
They kept a clean sheet in that game, but I don’t think the same is going to happen on Sunday. They’re playing Wolves, a team famous for being a giant-slayer.
Unfortunately, their top-scorer Raul Jimenez has suffered a fractured skull in the previous game, which will keep him off the pitch for a long time. Nevertheless, Wolves have other players who can step in.
Metz vs Lyon
Lyon is currently in 3rd place in Ligue 1, with only 2 points fewer than PSG> As PSG is obviously focused on the Champions League, it wouldn’t be surprising if they slipped and lost some points. If that happens, Lyon could take over the top spot in the league.
For that to happen, Lyon needs to beat Metz. They are really motivated to do so, not to mention that their recent form has been really good. Lyon has won their 3 previous league games, and is without a defeat since September.
Metz, on the other hand, has been playing poorly, especially in the attack. This team has scored only 3 goals in the 4 games they played in November.
This is a great opportunity for Lyon to win all 3 points, and they mustn’t miss it!
Schalke vs Bayer Leverkusen
The former soccer giant is now one of the worst teams in German top league. Schalke is without a win in the Bundesliga for almost a year, with their most recent win happening in January.
Something is rotten in Schalke, with their players fighting the management – Ibisevic got fired for getting into a fight with the assistant manager. A few other players got suspended as well. Furthermore, several Schalke players are out because of injury.
Bayer Leverkusen also has some problems with injuries, but not as big as Schalke. Their top scorer Lucas Alario is out with a knee injury, which is why I don’t expect them to score too many goals. Still, they should be able to score enough to get themselves a win on Sunday.
Sampdoria vs AC Milan
The last of my Sunday soccer betting previews is the one from the Italian Serie A. The table leader AC Milan is traveling to Genoa to take on struggling Sampdoria.
Sampdoria is in a bad form, which is why they are going to be very motivated to grab themselves at least a point. That’s something that’s not as crazy as it may sound at first glance. The reason is that AC Milan’s players are struggling with fitness.
This team is practically without a proper striker, with their top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic injured. Another injured attacker is the talented Portuguese youngster Rafael Leao.
Nevertheless, despite not having their best goal-scorers in the squad, AC Milan managed to score 4 goals against Celtic on Thursday evening. That game saw them going all-in, after being 2-0 down.
The problem is that the game was played less than 72 hours before the Sampdoria vs AC Milan game, meaning that Il Rossoneri might feel jaded.
Scoring against Sampdoria is not going to be easy, which is why my Sunday soccer betting pick is Under 2.5 goals. I also have a soccer prop bet suggestion for this one, which is Correct Score 0-1 (AC Milan win).
