Sabres vs Rangers Preview, Prediction & Prop Bets (March 22)
Both Sabres and Rangers have more losses than wins in 2021. In the case of the Sabres, that’s a pretty drastic difference – this team has more than 2x more defeats than victories.
This explains why the Buffalo Sabres are cemented to the bottom of the East Division. They will probably stay there unless a miracle happens. Still, this doesn’t mean the season is already over. They need to salvage their pride.
That’s something that they still can achieve if they got themselves into a good run. Such a thing doesn’t seem too crazy, knowing that the Sabres were pretty okay before COVID forced them to go into a two-week bye in February. Since they returned from the break, they lost more games than any other team in the NHL.

Sabres vs Rangers Prediction
The Sabres got themselves in a very rough patch over the last couple of weeks, but the goods seem to be coming for this team. Good might not be the right word, but “better” seems to be suit what we expect from the Sabres in the next few weeks.
Why we expect them to start winning more points than before is that their best player Jack Eichel is expected to return from a neck injury in April. The trouble is that it might be too late for this team.
Their going to miss their best skater against the Rangers, but their best goalie could return. Linus Ullmark, who’s save percentage was 0.9186 before he got injured a month ago, is expected to be ready. The only question is whether the coach Ralph Krueger is going to start the Swedish goaltender or let backup Carter Hutton get between the pipes from the beginning.
In either way, the Sabres are expected to try their best to snatch at least a point off the Rangers. The NY team has some good players, as evident from the fact that they have significantly more points than the Sabres.
Still, we believe that the Rangers aren’t good enough to get a big win on Monday evening. Instead, we’re sure this is going to be a close battle.
Our Sabres vs Rangers Pick: Sabres +1.5
Prop Bet Suggestions
Knowing how horrible the Sabres have been this season, even a single point would mean a lot for this team. In order to get it, they need to take the game to overtime. And for that to happen, they need to work much harder at the back.
What this all means is that we probably aren’t going to see too many goals in the Sabres vs Rangers game on March 22.
