Reign of Dynasties Picks
Following FatCatBet’s fantastic success with the Cage Warriors 116 preview, we have decided to do a ONE Championship preview as well. As the odds have finally be released, we can give you our Reign of Dynasties Picks for every fight happening on Friday. So, here they are!
Sam-A Gaiyanghadao vs Josh Tonna Prediction
Sam-A Gaiyanghadao Odds | Josh Tonna Odds |
-333 | +175 |
Sam-A Gaiyanghadao is a two-sport world champion in the ONE Championship. The Thai fighter is the kickboxing champ, as well as the champion of ONE Championship Muay Thai. The latter is on the line this Friday, when Josh Tonna will try to get ahold of the title.
Tonna might be the top contender by the reigning champ is considered the finest technician in this sport. Furthermore, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao has lost only once in the last five years. We just can’t see Tonna changing that.
Our pick: Sam-A Gaiyanghadao
Aleksi Toivonen vs Reece McLaren Prediction
Aleksi Toivonen Odds | Reece McLaren Odds |
-110 | -110 |
This is going to be Toivonen’s second fight under the banner of ONE Championship. His debut was nothing short of impressive, as he beat Akihiro Fujisawa by submission in the first round. That was only the second defeat in the career of the Japanese 40-year-old fighter.
This time, Toivonen is facing a much younger opponent, Reece McLaren, who was born in 1991. The Australian fighter has been in the ONE Championship since 2017, winning three and losing three fights so far. Two of those wins happened by submission, and we might see the third one happening on Friday.
Our pick: Reece McLaren
Other Reign of Dynasties Picks
In addition to the two bouts we’ve covered, there are four more fights in the main card. We’re going to give you our Reign of Dynasties picks for each one of those, starting with the Amir Khan vs Rahul Raju fight. Khan must be the favorite against Raju, considering his extensive experience. He did lose his previous fight, but bouncing back with a win is certainly his goal.
In the Eko Roni Saputra vs Murugan Silvarajoo clash, we got to go with Saputra. The Indonesian fighter is coming to Singapore after two straight wins in the ONE Championship. His opponent, on the other hand, is making his ONE Championship debut on Friday.
Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke vs Hexigetu is a tricky one to predict as Amnuaysirichoke has experience on his side, while Hexigetu has been in a winning streak. We’d rather avoid this one, but if we had to pick one fighter, we’d go with Hexigetu.
Hexigetu’s fellow countryman, Chinese fighter Liu Peng Shuai is taking on Indian Roshan Mainam. Liu is a fantastic fighter, but he’s lost his previous ONE Championship bout. That’s probably made him work even harder in the preparation for this clash. This is why we say back him!
