Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NCAAF is going to be a bit different than usual. Several teams have opted out of the competition, postponing their season to spring 2021. However, some did decide to play in fall 2020, which is very good news for football futures betting fans. If you’re one of them, you got to keep reading as we’re now going to present you with our college football championship predictions for the 2020 fall season.

Not only will you get our college football championship prediction for the title winner, but we will also give you our Playoff picks. Moreover, we’re also going to give you our picks for the winner of each of the conferences taking part in the 2020 fall season.

College Football Championship Predictions for Title Winner

In our opinion, the best odds to win NCAA Football Championship 2020 have those teams that did well in the previous season. LSU won the 2019 College Football Playoff, and, in our opinion, they’re once again among the top trophy candidates. The team LSU beat in the final of the Playoff was Clemson, another tough team with a fantastic chance of getting ahold of the trophy.

Other college playoff predictions include Oklahoma and Ohio State. That’s what believe at the moment of writing, which is just before the start of the season. All the aforementioned teams have decent college football playoff odds to get to the final 4. However, predicting which team is going to win the Playoff is very hard at the moment. Still, if we had to pick one team, it would be Clemson, mostly due to the fact that Tigers have one of the best quarterbacks college football has seen in recent times.

Big 12 Conference Predictions for Fall 2020

Experts’ Big 12 Bowl Projections are that we’re going to see Oklahoma Sooners and Texas shine this season. Oklahoma State looks like a dark horse at this moment, but our Big 12 football predictions are that this team will rank high at the end of the season.

When it comes to the Big 12 Conference winner in 2020, our pick is Oklahoma Sooners. This team reached the semifinal of the 2019 NCAAF Playoff, where they lost to LSU who then went on to become the champions.

Before getting to the Playoffs, they won the 2019 Big 12 Conference. They definitely have what it takes to do it this time as well. In fact, their team seems even stronger than last season, mostly thanks to the rise of Spencer Rattler.

Considered to be one of the most talented QBs in the NCAAF, he played only three games for Sooners since joining this college in summer 2019. This fall, he’s expected to play a much more important role. And even if he fails to meet the expectations, Sooners always have Tanner Mordecai to turn back to, the man who played the starting QB role for the most part of the last season.

Here are the Big 12 odds for the 2020 fall season of the NCAAF:

  • Oklahoma -120
  • Texas +175
  • Oklahoma State +650
  • Iowa State +1000
  • TCU +1600
  • West Virginia +2500
  • Baylor +3300
  • Kansas State +4000
  • Texas Tech +6600
  • Kansas +10000

2020 American Athletic Conference Predictions

Our 2020 AAC prediction is that we’re going to witness a two-horse race, sort to speak, between UCF and Memphis. Both teams have the potential to do very well this fall, and it seems that the conference winner will be decided in head-to-head duels between these two.

Online sportsbooks seem to agree with us, judging by their 2020 AAC odds:

  • UCF +105
  • Memphis +230
  • Cincinnati +400
  • SMU +1400
  • Navy +1400
  • Houston +1400
  • Temple +4000
  • Tulane +4000
  • South Florida +4000
  • Tulsa +5000
  • East Carolina +5000

2020 Atlantic Coast Conference Predictions

Unlike the American Athletic Conference, the Atlantic Coast Conference seems easier to predict. This is the competition in which Clemson is in, so it’s pretty obvious what to expect to happen in the 2020 fall season.

With college superstar Trevor Lawrence playing like he did the last season, Tigers have nothing to worry about winning the Atlantic Coast Conference. That said, Clemson to win the Conference is our 2020 ACC prediction.

Online bookmakers, of course, agree with us, with the odds Clemson Tigers being super-short:

  • Clemson Tigers -500
  • Notre Dame +500
  • North Carolina +800
  • Miami FL +1000
  • Virginia Tech +1800
  • Florida State +2800
  • Pittsburgh +3300
  • Louisville +4000
  • Virginia +5000
  • NC State +8000
  • Wake Forest +8000
  • Duke +10000
  • Syracuse +10000
  • Boston College +10000
  • Georgia Tech +50000

College Football Championship Predictions for Southeastern Conference

When it comes to college football futures for 2020 fall season, one of the toughest conferences to predict is the Southeastern Conference. The reason? LSU Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, and Florida Gators compete in the Southeastern Conference.

According to bookmakers, these four teams are the main candidates for winning the conference. They believe Alabama has the best chance, but we have to disagree. The last season’s Playoff winner remains a fantastic team. Despite what the NCAAF futures odds suggest, but our College Football Championship predictions are that LSU Tigers will win the conference, as well as do very well in the Playoffs.

NCAA Football futures odds for 2020 Southeastern Conference:

  • Alabama +105
  • Georgia +250
  • Florida +550
  • LSU +650
  • Texas A&M +1200
  • Auburn +1400
  • Kentucky +6000
  • Tennessee +8000
  • Mississippi State +8000
  • Ole Miss +10000
  • Missouri +12500
  • South Carolina +12500
  • Vanderbilt +25000
  • Arkansas +50000

2020 Sun Belt Conference Predictions

Sun Belt college football odds suggest we’re going to see a fierce battle for the conference title between Appalachian State and Louisiana Lafayette. We agree, but our college football betting suggestion for this competition is going to be to back Appalachian State Mountaineers, despite the fact that Louisiana Lafayette are far from being a bad side.

The reason for our NCAA football futures suggestion is that Mountaineers are led by Shawn Clerk, who stepped in as Eliah Drinkwitz mid-season last year. This is officially Clerk’s first season in charge of this team, but he’s been with the team for a long time. With him leading them, they had no problems winning the Sun Belt Championship Game. They should not have any problems winning it once again!

2020 Sun Belt Odds:

  • Appalachian State Mountaineers -175
  • Louisiana Lafayette +230
  • Troy +1200
  • Arkansas State +1400
  • Georgia Southern +1400
  • Georgia State +2200
  • Coastal Carolina +2800
  • UL Monroe +2800
  • Texas State +4000
  • South Alabama +5000
