Ben Roethlisberger a.k.a. Big Ben has been one of the best quarterbacks this season. The 38-year-old has helped his team, the Pittsburg Steelers win 11 consecutive games, before finally losing to the Washington Football Team on Monday evening. Big Ben prop bet odds before that game suggested he was going to do well in that game, which he did. Unfortunately, his teammates didn’t.

The big question is whether Big Ben’s impressive form can continue? And if it does, can it help his team bounce back with a win in the Steelers @ Bills in Week 14? We’re now going to try to answer those questions!

Steelers Lose 1st Game of the Season, Big Ben Keeps Impressing

On Monday evening, the AFC table leaders, the Pittsburg Steelers played against the Washington Football Team. They were expected to win the game easily, with the moneyline odds set to -285 before the start of the game.

However, they ended up losing by 23-17. It’s very surprising that they scored only 17 points in that game, knowing how powerful they are in the offense (334 pts scorer this season). In fact, only two teams in the AFC have scored more than them this season, namely the Kansas City Chiefs (370 pts) and Tennessee Titans (359 pts).

The Steelers’ impressive offensive performances are all thanks to the form of their quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The guy’s been sensational throughout the season, and even in the defeat to Washington, he was brilliant.

We saw him passing completing 33-of-53 passes, which isn’t bad. We also saw only one interception, which also isn’t bad. But, what’s really impressive is that he passed for 305 yards in that game. This includes the breathtaking 50-yarder that you can see in the tweet below.

Big Ben’s fantastic display in that game should not surprise anyone who knows how great of a passer he’s been this season. This guy has passed for over 300 yards on four occasions this season already, for a total of 3,105 yards.

Furthermore, he’s passed for a total of 27 touchdown passes, which explains why he got himself in the MVP conversation.

Although oddsmakers don’t think he’s likely to win the award, giving him the odds of +2,000, Big Ben is currently #4 in the MVP favorites list.

Can Big Ben Slice Up Buffalo Bill’s Struggling Defense?

The Buffalo Bills are flying high in the AFC. They’re currently third with 9-3 score so far. They’re a good team, especially when it comes to the offense. Their defense, however, is nothing special.

In fact, the Bills have conceded 306 points so far, which makes their defense only the 7th-best in the conference. That’s something Big Ben will definitely try to take advantage of. What’s got to worry the Steelers slightly ahead of this game is that they don’t have a very history with the Bills.

The highest number of points the Steelers scored against the Bills in their previous five meetings is 23.

Big Ben Prop Bet Suggestion: Roethlisberger O 271 Yds in Steelers @ Bills

The football prop bet odds still haven’t been released for NFL Week 14 at the moment of writing. Still, judging by the odds from the last weekend, we can assume the oddsmakers are gonna go with 271 yards for the O/U margin.

For other prop bets, we expect similar odds to the ones you can see in this tweet discussing Big Ben prop bets from Week 13:

Even if the odds and margins aren’t the same, we definitely think Big Ben is going to impress against the Bills. We expect him to pass for around 300 yards, as well as to make at least three TD passes.

Whether this will help his team to win remains a big question. That’s why our advice is to stay away from moneyline and spread betting in the Steelers @ Bills game in Week 14 and focus on proposition bets.
